This is what they do when I'm making dinner.

This is a pile of their fall/winter clothes on my foyer floor.

Look up. This how the clothes got there. And one of the culprits, in the bottom right of the picture.

A view from above. And the other culprit, again on the right.

Not the same clothes. A different pile of clothes discovered in their room upon further investigation.

Three entire drawers had been emptied.

This one was trying to close the door to keep me from seeing the mess.

His mug shot.

Mug shot of suspect #2.

And this just sums up his personality.

p.s Thank you for not judging me on the fact that they are in diapers at dinnertime. They had Chef Boyardee for lunch - for which I strip them down. Then they had naps.

p.p.s. Thank you also for not judging me on the fact that they had Chef Boyardee - totally processed and totally sodium filled - for lunch. H LOVES it. And sometimes we just gotta go with what gets us through the day...

The Season is (Finally) Over.

Slicked back hair, courtesy of Coppertone Sport SPF 50

Woohoo! Season's over. My kid's the one doing the weird skip with her hand in the air.

I guarantee you the words coming out of her mouth were "What is for snack?" The most important part of any pre-K soft-T-ball game.

"Good game, goodgame, goodgame, googame, gugae, gugae, gugae."

Heat exhaustion. Ice-filled sippy cups. Snack bar popcorn. Ahhh, summer.

Go Royals. And Go Royals.

An aside - both my big kids' teams were the Royals this year. Other teams had much more creative names. My favorites from the 2008 summer season: girls - Unicorns, Pandas and Bumblebees; boys - Ninjas. Love it!

Goodbye Baby Teeth. Hello Orthodontia.

First, my babies suddenly become 18 months old. Now, G loses his fifth tooth - first one up top. (And word on the street is that M is responsible. They told me that she "reached in there and it just fell out!") Sigh again...

Father of Four Funny Kids

J's band played a private party this past weekend. Here are some pics of the man. And a pic of Eco Elvis who "performed" (?) elsewhere at the same event. He wandered by during "Jessie's Girl" and joined the band for the chorus.
